Video Lending Library
The District 58 Video Lending Library is available to all Toastmasters who are members of a Toastmasters Club in District 58 (the State of South Carolina) free of charge. There is no charge if you pick up and return the video, or videos, in person. If we mail the video(s) to you, the District will pay postage to the members address and the member will pay the return postage.
THE DISTRICT 58 VIDEO LENDING LIBRARY RULES
1. The video lending library is for member use only.
2. You may borrow the video(s) for two weeks. If you need the video(s) for a longer period an additional two weeks may be granted, however, no video(s) maybe kept for longer than four weeks.
3. Members may borrow as often as they like, maximum of three videos per time.
4. There is no charge for use of the video(s). The user assumes all liability for missing, or damaged videos and must pay for replacement.
5. Federal law prohibits use of District 58’s Video Lending Library for profit or in a for-profit training session.
5. A late fee of $10.00 per video is assessed from the first Monday after the date the video(s) is due back into the District 58 Video Lending Library. If the video(s), has not been returned by the second Monday after the date the video(s) is due back, an additional fee of $25.00 per video is assessed and all borrowing of further videos by the offending member, and members of their Club, is suspended until such time as the fine is paid and the video(s) is returned
6. A request to borrow video(s) may be made by e-mail or written notice. Please include the borrower’s complete name, mailing address, phone number, e-mail address, and Toastmasters Club name and Club number.
